1.SBI Magnum contra
2.ICICI Fusion Fund Series II
3.HSBC offshore Freemdom Fund -Indian Equity

IInd quesion
pls suggest some large cap funds which are different from the above fund and which invest in different shares and companies than above mutual funds..

I cannot say about the other two but SBI magnum contra fund is a good fund provided you are in the (G) growth category.

I’m doing an investment simulation for my finance class, and we have to invest in mutual funds. We’re supposed to be strategic with our investments, and I want to find the beta value for various stocks/funds, but i cannot find them anywhere on Yahoo Finance. Are they displayed on Yahoo Finance and if so where can I find them???

For a mutual fund click on the “Risk” tab on the left and you can find the beta of the fund. For a stock simply click on the “Key Statistics” tab on the left hand side of the page once you are on the stocks Yahoo Finance page. Good luck!

Never. Mutual funds are bad news. When you buy them, you do not own any assets. You own a piece of a company that buys and sells assets. The best thing to do is own actual stocks.

Also, should I be concerned about an upcoming bear market, given the current status of the housing market?

i dont now about 2000-03 but i have 2 mutual funds,
they are schwab 1000 and vanguard both are good i dont no about 30 percent but ive been getting 16 percent the past 5 years
