I don’t know if they give historical data for all mutual funds, but they do have historical data on them.
For example, here is the historical data going back to 1987 for the Vanguard S&P 500 Index Fund: http://finance.yahoo.com/q/hp?s=VFINX
Yes, for daily closing prices for very many funds. Depending on the age of your fund, histories go back eight to ten years. Just click on Historical Prices and enter the start date (you want), and the end date.
